Understanding the Card Layout

One of the first things you will need to understand in TerraForge is the general card layout. The face of a card contains a wealth of information that you must become familiar with if you wish to utilize your cards to the fullest potential. To better illustrate this concept, we will use the mighty Bogdan as an example. Just click on the card components to the right of Bogdan to learn more about them.

Hey! You there! Click on the items to the right of me! It's time to learn about cards!

I am Bogdan, and this is my card! There are many other cards, but none as strong as I!

All cards have a name, but none like mine, for I am Bogdan, Keeper of Purefire!

The description of a card informs you of any special abilities the card may have.

All cards have a type. The card type affects how a card will interact with other cards.

The card cost tells you how many Terra charges are required to play the card.

The rank of a card influences how some cards interact with the given card.

The threshold panel shows which eternals are required to play the card.

Black is common, green is uncommon, blue is rare, purple is legendary, orange is...

Attack points tell you how much damage a creature will deal in combat.

Health points tell you how much damage a creature can take before being buried.

Armor points reduce the amount of damage a creature takes from all sources.

The illustrator is responsible for the fantastic art you see on each card.
